Welcome to Blackbird
We are a small brand and communication design studio that’s hugely experienced at creating multi award-winning projects for clients of every size and shape. We put as much care and thought into a simple website for a small local business as we do for a multi-channel campaign for a big high street brand.
Based in Somerset we work with all kinds of brands, from micro businesses all the way up to multinational corporations and organisations. We may not be the biggest in the South West, and we might not be the loudest. But we’ve probably won more awards than every other agency in the region put together. For both creativity and effectiveness.
We’re focussed and nimble, with a small team of hand picked strategists, designers, writers and developers, led by Creative Director, Dave Henderson.
Over the last 25 years Dave has worked with and led some of the world’s most successful creative agencies, helping both DDB London and Saatchi & Saatchi win ‘most awarded agency in the world’ for both creativity and effectiveness.
And at Mullen Lowe London he led a multi-disciplined team of 200+ people, creating award-winning work for a diverse range of clients, from Morrisons to Unilever, British Heart Foundation to Halfords.
